MAC Fall Colour: Wild Colour EOTD

Wednesdays - just enough week has gone by that you wish work was over but wait...there's still two more days to go! To brighten up "hump" day I thought I would do a very quick EOTD featuring two of the new eye shadow shades from MAC's Fall Colour collection.

Products used (all MAC unless otherwise specified):

Pro Longwear concealer in NW 20/25 (mixed)
Blot Powder Loose in Medium
Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
Three Ring Yellow, Blue Candy & Humid eye shadows
Technakohl liner in Graphblack
Fluidline liner in Midnight Blues

Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Brunette
Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof mascara in Very Black

Apply and set concealer with powder. Using a flat synthetic brush, apply Soft Ochre paint pot all over the lid, fading and blending towards the brow bone. Using a flat brush (242) pack on Three Ring Yellow shadow all over the lid and past the crease, fading and blending upwards. Using a crease brush (226) apply Blue Candy to the crease blending into a v shape at the outer edge of the eye. Apply Humid to the whole lower lash line using a small brush (221), blending the outer edge up to meet the Blue Candy shadow.

Next work Graphblack liner between the upper lashes, follow by thickly lining the upper lashes with Midnight Blue using an angled brush (266). Curl lashes and coat with mascara, fill in brows.

Day brightened!

  2. Thanks Grace!

Blue Candy is very intense, probably one of the best shadows MAC has put out in a while in terms of payoff. I wouldn't usually use a bright in the crease but I was just playing around and thought it kind of worked.
