Lovefresh Body Lotion and Body Butter Review

Lovefresh Lemon Verbena Body Butter and Love Fresh Pear Lotion

I love discovering local companies and love it even more when they make beautiful products. I discovered Lovefresh online and they were kind enough to send me some products to try out.

Lovefresh is a Canadian brand that prides itself in luxurious, delicious-smelling skincare products in ten fragrance blends. Lovefresh makes body butter, body wash, lip balm, body lotion, soap and sugar scrubs that are petroleum, paraben and sodium lauryl sulfate free. They come in ten fragrances - lavender, pear, water lily, vanilla, pink grapefruit & tangerine, lemon verbena, pomegranate, key lime coconut, fleur and wild ginger & cinnamon.

I got to try the Pear Body Lotion and the Lemon Verbena body butter. The lotion is light and luxurious, is fantastically soothing on freshly shaved legs and absorbs in a snap. The fragrance is sweet, warm and soft, not overpowering as many lotions can be. I'll be using this more and more as the weather gets cooler and cooler. At $20 for 8 Fl oz it's a reasonably luxurious lotion and a little goes a long way so it's going to last a good long time.

The Lemon Verbena body butter comes in 8 fl oz ($22) and is a thick, very rich, sumptuous cream for very dry skin or very cold weather. I can't wait to slather this on in the dead of winter after a hot shower.

See how thick this body butter is?
Made with aloe vera, white willow bark, chamomile and calendula extract, it's a fantastically luxurious cream for your skin. Butter is right!

The lemon verbena fragrance is crisp and sophisticated. I'm a sucker for citrus scents so this was a guaranteed love for me.

Thick and rich.
Right now my skin isn't in need of moisturizer this thick, but it's great on my feet, knees and elbows. If you really want to treat yourself, try giving yourself a good pedicure - soak your feet, remove nail polish, trim and file your toenails and slough off the dead skin. Then slather on some Lovefresh body butter, pull on a pair of socks and let your feet luxuriate.

Check out Lovefresh, your skin will thank you! Website here.
