Beauty Squared Round-Up - May 13, 2012

Here are some of the best beauty links we've stumbled across this week. Enjoy!

Legendary hair stylist Vidal Sassoon passed away this week at the age of 84. The Guardian newspaper features an audio interview with him from May 2011. Sassoon talks about his life and career, which is also the subject of Vidal Sassoon: The Movie.

Hillary Clinton made news this week, not for any of her important work, but for appearing unmade-up at a number of events as she tours India. She isn't looking as polished as usual, wearing her glasses, a bit of lipstick and her hair is loose and natural. She looks great.

The Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is like the Oscars for fashion. Celebrities push the fashion envelope with some incredible fashion and beauty looks you're not likely to see on other red carpets. Here's one of the many top 10 Met Gala 2012 looks lists.

This is a bit mind-boggling (and gross): manicures inspired by duck feet.

Sephora's released a list of 10 of their Most Wanted Products. How many do you own?

At Sephora yesterday I saw that Benefit had come out with glosses to go with some of their boxed powders. I tried to find information about them online, but there's nothing on the Benefit website or the Sephora website. Beautyzine.com has photos, reviews and swatches of four of the six glosses. They're super-pretty!
