MAC MAC Me Over

M·A·C ME OVER! M·A·C TRANSFORMS SIX UNKNOWN TALENTS WITH HEART, STYLE  & SOUL TO BE THE FACES OF OUR FALL COLLECTION

Call it “reality beauty,” street style chic, or just one great big, lip-glossy kiss to our fans: For Fall 2011, six unknown talents – selected from massive amounts of entries for their inimitable style, heart, and soul – will be the faces of our three-part Fall Colour Collection. These extraordinary five ladies (and one gallant guy!) help celebrate our enduring credo of All Ages, All Races, All Sexes, and serve as shining examples of the power of makeup artistry and its amazing ability to transform.

Back in November, we launched M·A·C Me Over! online, a revolutionary call to M·A·C addicts across the nation to tell us why they deserved to be the new faces of the brand. It was no easy task to narrow down so many gorgeous entries, but six sassy and spectacular individuals truly stood out. They were flown to New York City to experience a superstar level photo shoot and collaborative makeover with industry luminaries such as world-renowned photographer Michael Thompson, A-list stylist Paul Cavaco, hair guru Serge Normant, makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Andersen, and of course, our very own Creative Director of M·A·C Cosmetics Worldwide, James Gager, who oversaw the project from its inception and hand-selected the winners.

These fresh faces will help us tell this year’s Fall Colour Story, which includes M·A·C classics, a nude and pink collection comprising our artists’ favorite shades and new limited-life shades; the other two go bold, one with trend-based blackened shades while the second plays it cool pastel.
